"The Lord had said to Abram, 'Leave your native country, your relatives, and your father's family, and go to the land that I will show you... All the families on earth will be blessed through you."
- Genesis 12:1,3

When God called Abram (Later known as Abraham) to leave his home and go on a journey to a land that God had prepared for him, Abram didn't even question-he just went.

Sometimes, the journey that God calls us to is out of our comfort zone and requires total faith. But Abram was willing to go on this journey because he trusted God, and knew that what the Lord had for him would be far greater than staying still.

Later on, verse 7 says: “Then the Lord appeared to Abram..."
Because of Abram's trust in the journey God called him to, the Lord appeared to him! If you're stuck in a spot where it feels like you're waiting on God to show up, it could be that He's simply waiting on you to take the leap and GO.

Ask yourself: What step of faith has God called me to take in my journey that I've been putting off? What can you do today to start that journey of faith?
